4 members must attend to receive a community service credit
Purpose: Despite being a smoke-free campus, our sidewalks and areas outside of buildings are littered with cigarette butts. This is not only aesthetically displeasing but also a health hazard, and detrimental to the environment. This clean up is intended to bring UB students together to be aware of this issue and do something for their school. This will also be a chance for clubs to earn SA credit.
Risk Assessment:
Gloves and appropriate clothing to be worn
If near Lake Lasalle, stay 5 feet away from shoreline
One officer for each clean-up zone
Multiple Wilderness First Aid certified participants
Things to bring:
Water
Plastic Bags
Comfortable closed-toed shoes
