Summer Budget Access Request

Only clubs that have submitted requests and have been approved for summer budget usage will be able to access their budget for events or activities after Friday, May 16th, 2025. To request budget access, please complete this form with as much information as possible. Please attach any official quotes and/or documentation that verifies the need for budgetary access. This form is vendor-specific. If your club would like to use multiple vendors, a separate request must be made for each vendor.  No requests for funds will be processed without an approved Summer Budget Access Request for that vendor. ONLY the President or Treasurer of the club may submit this form.

Summer Budget Access must be used between May 17 through June 30, 2025.  All requests must be for events that fall within that window.  All purchases must be completed, goods and services received, and documentation submitted to SA Finance on or before Friday, July 11, 2025. After submission, clubs that apply will receive an email stating the results of all requests. If you have any questions, please email sa-finance@buffalo.edu. 

Requests will be denied if:

1. The purchase is not for an event between May 17 and June 30, 2025.

2. The request is incomplete or filled out incorrectly.

3. The purchase is for goods that can not be purchased within the time frame or are not allowable. 

4. Quotes of proof of the event are not uploaded to the request.

5. Multiple vendors are listed on one request.

After approved purchases have been made or the deadline of June 30th has passed, all open club budgets will be paused until the club has met the requirements for their budgets to open according to the Annual Registration and Requirements for Recognition Policy.

All requests for Summer Budget Access must be submitted by 4 pm May 9th, 2025.
