Dreams Affirmed is a theatre and dance-based group that focuses on bringing more opportunities for students of color in the performing arts. We fight against inequality in two ways: through theatrical events and performances that highlight the cultural diversity of this school and through implementing changes that promote fair treatment and more diverse topics in the Theater and Dance Department.
Give students the opportunity to express themselves through art, while bonding and reflecting with their peers who share similar forms of expression. The form of dance we intend to produce targets the roots of African and Black American culture. Not only will we produce this art, but we will also aim to educate our student body on both the history and impact of each style we produce.

The purpose of the National Black Law Students Association Pre-Law Chapter at the University at Buffalo is to articulate and promote the needs and goals of Black and minority undergraduate students who have an interest in law. UB BLSA Pre-Law seeks to work with the undergraduate University, the UB School of Law, and the local Buffalo community to increase access and resources for applying to law school to our members. We strive to provide members with internship opportunities, community service initiatives, and the chance to connect with current law students, law professors, attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals in order to provide insight and guidance in connection with becoming a future lawyer.
